Can I drive a hydraulic double acting Cylinder by another double acting cylinder so that the first used as a simple piston pump?

I want to drive a double acting hydraulic cylinder with another double acting hydraulic cylinder so that it can be be used a piston pump. The idea is to connect rods of two double acting hydraulic cylinder, drive the first cylinder using a normal fixed displacement pump. The mechanical force thus created by the first cylinder should pull the piston of the second cylinder resulting in another custom fluid to be drawn into the piston chamber of the second cylinder. The second cylinder will thus act as a simple piston pump. The following snapshot captures part of the model.

I'm pretty sure you can, as long as you figure out the direction of the motion correctly :)
