how to do Fourier transform " x [ n ] = (0.5) ^n * u [ n ] " . and then evaluate x[n]=(e^jw) at 501 equi-spaced points between [0,phi] . thank you

Hello, you can use fourier() in https://fr.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/fourier.html .
