Error on the slope when using a least squares fit

Hello,
I am fitting a slope to data points using least squares fit (polyfit), but I also need to know the error on the slope returned by this function. Does anyone have a handy way of doing this?

If you have the Statistics Toolbox:
doc regress
And if you have the Statistics Toolbox with R2012a:
doc linearmodel
