Matlab 2015b and 2016a doesn't save .m files + UI is partialy shown in japanese

Hi guys,
I originally used Matlab 2015b but updated to 2016a today, since I hoped, this will solve the problem. But unfortunatley: It does not. I also checked and updated to the latest Java Version (as someone mentioned in an old question), but that didn't help either.
The next quirk is: the UI is shown partly in japanese. I can read that, but this popped up somehow over night. Also, if I want to save the file, I get 2 save-file-dialog-windows.
I'm using Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
Can anyone give me some hints for solving this?
Best wishes, Thorsten

Okay. I read something here: https://de.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/325983 As Steven Lord (#9/16) said, I run [fid, errorMessage] = fopen('test1.m', 'wt') but the Message was empty. Also, the file now exists and I can edit it, but that's just a work around.

Hi Thorsten,
Others who have reported the issue of the script files not saving have had it resolved when they restart their computer.
If this issue persists, please contact technical support at: http://www.mathworks.com/support/servicerequests/create.html
