why do i get the following error when using azimuth?

When I enter the azimuth command as in the following example, I get the following error.
azimuth(-65.226,125.5,-65.236,125.433)
Error using distance
Too many input arguments.
Error in azimuth (line 65)
[~, az] = distance(varargin{:});||
Somebody please help me to solve this. Thank you

KalMandy - is azimuth the function from the Mapping Toolbox or one that you have created? You seem to be passing the correct number of parameters to this function. In the command window type
which azimuth -all
What does this return?
