how can i find the frequency and the damping coefficient using fitting methods of the matlab?i have a signal output

See Damped Cosine Wave Fitting for my approach. You can change the ‘fit’ function to be a sine instead of a cosine if you want to. The code will work the same. I leave it to you to extract the necessary Control System parameters from the parameters the code estimates from your data.
