I get this error:

when trying to export table to excel... please help !!
i have the table in my workspace, and then typed:
writetable(w1,'sample2.xls') %where table name = w1
do i need to add more information?

In any case, you could do as the error suggested and save to another file type.
writetable(w1,'sample2.csv')
