Matlab R2015a crashes when changing folders under OS X

I tried unistalling and reinstalling. This happen after I updated java and X11 however when i went back to previous version it still did not work. I had the same problem as this guy on your website http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/195592-matlab-r2015a-crashes-when-changing-folders-under-os-x
I need help fixing my matlab to continue to work. Any advice?
