ALT key activates toolstrip even if minimized (R2026a, release 2)

Hello,
With 2026a release 0 on a Linux system, we had the issue that creating a figure changes the keyboard shortcuts from emacs to Windows.
Therefore, our science IT installed release 2 now. This issue is fixed there, but opening a figure triggers another one:
Using emacs keys requires using the ALT key frequently. However, the ALT key also activates the toolstrip menu. In the past, it helped to minimize the toolstrip menu. In 2026a release 2, this helps initially as well. Once a figure has been created, the ALT key inevitably activates the toolstrip menu and thus emacs keyhboard shortcuts become effectively unusable.
Thus my question: How can I use emacs keyboard shortcuts with 2026a release 2 without activating the toolstrip menu all the time / how can I deactivate that ALT triggers the toolstrip menu to become active?
Best
Oliver

@Oliver: I apologize for the inconvenience. I was not aware of that issue when I suggested you upgrade to R2026a Update 2, but now that you point it out, I was able to find an active bug report owned by another team that is currently looking into that specific issue. I have attached this MATLAB Answers post to that bug report, but at the moment I'm not aware of any workarounds.
