Why does MATLAB crash with a log containing "T_Prevent64.dll"?

My MATLAB and Simulink based applications randomly crash, mostly once I open a Simulink model. The crash logs are similar to the crash below.

Based on the crash log, the issue appears to be related to the "T_Prevent64.dll" library. This file is associated with certain e-learning platforms, as well as screen security or DRM (Digital Rights Management) software provided by the third-party company Teruten.
