Why does MATLAB crash with a log containing "T_Prevent64.dll"?

My MATLAB and Simulink based applications randomly crash, mostly once I open a Simulink model. The crash logs are similar to the crash below.

Based on the crash log, the issue appears to be related to the "T_Prevent64.dll" library. This file is associated with certain e-learning platforms, as well as screen security or DRM (Digital Rights Management) software provided by the third-party company Teruten. Because this type of software injects itself into running applications, it can sometimes cause conflicts with MATLAB and Simulink.
To prevent these crashes, first, check if you can allow MATLAB on the related security software referring to How to detect and prevent antivirus from affecting MATLAB and Simulink performance?
If you are unable to allow MATLAB, please try the following steps to avoid conflicts:
  1. Before starting MATLAB, make sure to completely close any e-learning, screen security, or DRM-related programs.
  2. If the issue persists, open Task Manager and check for any processes published by Teruten. Right-click on these processes and select "End Task" to close them.
Restarting your computer can also help ensure all related tasks are closed. If you no longer need the software, uninstalling it may also resolve the issue.
If the issue still occurs after trying these steps, please contact the MathWorks Technical Support team. Include your crash dump files (How do I locate the crash dump files generated by MATLAB?) and a description of how to reproduce the problem so we can assist you further.
