I did install SimMechanics Link to export Creo files. After adding the configuration and restarting creo I get an error message saying:
"Creo Toolkit Anwendung 'SimMechanics Link', aus Registrierungsdatei '..\creo2matlab.dat', Vorläufer von Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire v4.0, wurde jedoch nicht als Legacy-Kodierung verwendend gekennzeichnet"
My translation: "Creo Toolkit Application 'SimMechanics Link' from registration file '..\creo2matlab.dat', ancestor of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire v4.0, but was not declared as user of lagacy coding."
After clicking OK, the next prompt states: "Start of application 'SimMechanics Link' failed.
Any help would be highly appriciated!

I did change my Language settings, so the english Message is:
Creo Toolkit application 'Sim Mechanics Link', from registry file '..\creo2matlab.data', predates Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire v4.0 but was not marked as using legacy encoding.

After adding unicode_encoding false to the configuration creo2matlab.data it works.
