the new desktop gets progressively slower after using it for a while

This was also happening to me in beta (2024a) but it's also happening on the 25a pre-release. As I use matlab for a long time the GUI gets slower and slower until it is unusable and I have to restart it. Originally I noticed it while fitting nonlinear models, now I'm noticing it while using Simulink Test to run models. Both applications are on the heavy-side in terms of data quantity, but I didn't think it was particularly heavy. If I got back to the "old" desktop, I definitely dont see the same slowdowns.
