Does the RF box have a tramission line defined by its characteristic impedance an physical Length?

35 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I need to use MATLAB to calculate the transsmission loss of 10 (or more) cascaded transmission lines.
The transmission lines need to be defined by thweir characteristic impedance and physical length (or phase length). SOmething similar to other circuit packages suche as QucsStudio.
I am browsing the RF toolbox components and I can't find such a component.
Thank you

Hi @Pierre,
As I understand it, you are looking for a block for modeling transmission lines defined by "Characteristic Impedance" and length parameters. Under the "Circuit Envelope" section of the "RF Blockset," you can find the "Transmission Line" block, which supports "Characteristic Impedance" and other physical length parameters. Here is the link to the documentation for the block:
Additionally, here is an example of a "Delay-Based Transmission Line" that demonstrates how to use the block:
Hope this helps!
