If you are using MATLAB R2023a and later:
Starting in R2023a, MATLAB documentation (including all files associated with examples) is not installed locally by default. When documentation is installed locally, it is installed underneath the support package root folder. Please visit the following link for more information on how to install documentation locally:
Another option is to open the example in MATLAB Online. This can be done by pressing "Open in MATLAB Online" in the top right corner when accessing the example online. Once pressing this button, the example should open in MATLAB Online along with all files associated with that example.
If you are using MATLAB R2022b and earlier:
For MATLAB R2022b and earlier releases, you can find example files on root directory. An example of what this location might be is: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2022b\examples
