hello everyone,
is it possible to install simscape in the r2022b beta apple silicon version? If yes, what procedure needs to be followed?
I am asking this question because via the 'add-on' screen it is not possible to complete the traditional procedure, as the application crashes during installation.
Thanks

Hi,
SimScape is not officially supported on Apple Silicon (M1) processors. SimScape is a part of MATLAB/Simulink, and currently, MathWorks has not released a version of MATLAB/Simulink that natively supports Apple Silicon.
However, I recommend reaching out to MathWorks or checking their official website for the most up-to-date information on the compatibility and availability of SimScape for Apple Silicon. MathWorks may release an updated version of MATLAB/Simulink that supports Apple Silicon in the future, so it's important to stay updated with their official announcements and releases.
If you are experiencing crashes during installation of SimScape on the R2022b beta Apple Silicon version, it could be due to the compatibility issues mentioned above. In that case, you can try running MATLAB/Simulink on a supported architecture, such as an Intel-based Mac, until an official version for Apple Silicon is released.
