Discriminate normal yellow beans from other colored beans/damaged beans.

Hi! I am trying to discriminate other colored seeds (say black) and damaged seeds from normal yellow soybean seeds using their RGB values. Can someone help me with how to do this is in matlab? Attached herewith is an image of some random objects with different colors just for example. In the attached picture, how can I discriminate the green objects from the others? It would be a great help if it will start from preprocessing techniques needed before feature extraction. Thanks!
