Why do I get the error "Network connection failure" or "Did not get a valid entitlement" when running a MATLAB container on Ironbank?

When I try to start MATLAB on my Ironbank container I either get an error reading "Network connection failure" or "Did not get a valid entitlement". How do I resolve this?

MathWorks does not directly support the usage of MATLAB in Ironbank. However, there are a few things to make note of and try:

1. Ensure that you have a network connection and a valid entitlement to use MATLAB in a container.
2. Unset your VARIANTmatlab variable if you have one.
