How to simulate a sled going down a slope

Hi,
I need to simulate a sled going down a winding slope with straight and curved paths. My problem is how to seamlessly use the velocity at the end of a straight in the simulation along a curved path and vice-versa in the same simulation.

Sounds like a math/model question and not a MATLAB question.
