GT Power with Simulink [Simulation error]

16 views (last 30 days)
After VDI was updated with Windows 10 (worked normally with Windons 7 GT-Suite) I am not able to run Co-Simulation models between Matlab and GT-Power.
In the standard simulation we couple the GT-Power model to simulink, using simulink as master.
However, when we start the simulation, in preprocessing the model cannot generate the .dat file.
In the error log file; it says that the GT model template was not found in the directory, but it is in the folder.
This error is happening for any simulation that uses the GT-Power model integration with Simulink. in MathWorks.com.
ANY SOLUTIONS FOR THIS?

Hi Calequela Manuel,
Although the GT Power model is there, I see that you continue to receive errors stating that the GT model template cannot be located in the directory. When you encounter issues with co-simulation models between MATLAB and GT-Power after a system update (from Windows 7 to Windows 10 in your case), there could be several factors at play. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
  • Ensure that both MATLAB and GT-Power are compatible with Windows 10. You may need to update to newer versions of the software if they are not compatible with the updated operating system.
  • The error message suggests that the GT model template cannot be found. Double-check that the paths to all necessary files are correctly set in your simulation environment. This includes checking environment variables and configuration settings within both MATLAB and GT-Power.
  • Sometimes, permission issues can cause file access problems. Try running both MATLAB and GT-Power as an administrator to see if this resolves the issue.
  • Sometimes, issues are resolved in software updates. Make sure you have the latest updates for MATLAB, GT-Power, and Windows 10.
I hope this helps!
