greenChannel = rgbImage(:, :, 2);
blueChannel = rgbImage(:, :, 3);
redMinusBlue = double(radChannel) - double(blueChannel);
imshow(redMinusBlue, []);

thanku for this answer but it is giving that "Undefined function 'rgbImage' for input arguments of type 'char'.
