Representation of values of a 3d matrix

I have a 3d region of interest. For every plane of this region I have a 2d matrix that gives me the value of a certain parameter in every point of the plane. To represent this parameter on a single plane I used contourf, is there a way to represent this parameter on the entire region of interest?
