Is it possible use MatLab to testing Protocol PTP ( achieve phase and frequency synchronism)?

Hi dears,
I need to know if is possible to get phase and frequency synchronism in MatLab with PTP protocol. Can I use boundary, transparents clocks, master and slave clocks?. Precise, that I only want to use the simulator without having to invest in additional devices.
