Bootloader port of Arduino MKR 1010 not detecting in Simulink
Show older comments
Hello,
I am using arduino MKR 1010 board to read the speed of my motor using Encoder Block of simulink. When i connect my MKR board to computer, first we need to give Com port munbers i simulink hardware settings. But, my laptop device manager only shows one com port number. Bootloader port number is not shown.
When i run by random.y providing bootloader number in setting, I get the following error:
The following error occurred during deployment to your hardware board: Could not find the bootloader COM port for your Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 board. This may be due to a disconnected board or unrecognized port. If the board is connected to your host computer, then try putting the board in Bootloader mode to get the Bootloader COM port number.
Component:Simulink | Category:Model error
Please let me know how to solve this issue. Any help will be deeply appreciated. Thanks!
And why running the model in silulink in external mode puts my arduino in Bootloader mode.

Why this question has not been answred? Does Matlab ever answers a question? So far not to me.
