Large Data Export Problem from C++

Hi,

I want to export data to a .mat file from my C++ application (64bit, Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, Win7, Matlab2010). This works well for smaller files (500-700 Mbyte). However, when I come to the region of 1-2 Gigabytes my app crashes as there seems to be a problem with memory allocation (within mxCreateNumericArray). My machine shouldn't be the problem as I have 48 Gbyte of RAM. Any idea how to handle this issue? Would appreciate help on that. Thanks in advance.

Are you running a 64-bit version of MATLAB?

Yes, everything is 64-bit. Matlab libraries and the my program.
