How to add thickness to 2D images?

Anyone can help?
actually, I am doing the 3D Volume image. However, I combined the 2D slices into 3D image and showed them with 3D viewer. there is space between each slice. I want to give every slice a thinkness and combine into 3D volume image without any spacing.

You might want to interpolate values between successive frames using interp3. I've never tried it on microscopy images though so it's just an idea :)
What 3D viewer are you using? Can you give an example image of the kind output rendering you want?
