download client stops downloading at some point

I have downloaded MATLAB 2014a installation client, but it is keep freezing before the download ends. It sometimes freeze at 40 MB/ 291 MB or sometimes at different points. It occurs even when I try to install 2013b.

I tried manually downloading files, but it seems like that it does not recognize the downloaded files. It just tries to re-download files that I already downloaded. How should I proceed?

I have the same very annoying issue with 2014b. Seems to be a bug in the installation agent. The only solution I found is to drop the TCP connection to the MATLAB server (e.g. in the system firewall) when it freezes. The installer then gives a warning and restarts downloading of the current file with some chances of succeeding. At least this way is much faster then restarting the installer many times.
