values of y-axis acceleration's data more than 2 g

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi to all,
Please i'm using a kionix kxtj9 accelerometer which have 2g as a G-range and 8 bits as resolution. When i plot y's acceleration data in matlab, it shows me a values more than 3g. its due a noise and gravity acceleration or its abnormal to get this data.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion

That would depend on whether your accelerometer has been in a roller-coaster or flying with the Blue Devils.
This question is probably better suited for the makers of that particular apparatus and not in a Matlab forum.
