Why is the first letter of my signal name truncated when displayed on a Target Scope in xPC Target 2.7.2 (R14SP2)?

I have a Simulink model containing signals that are passed into Target Scope blocks. When the model is downloaded and displayed on the target machine, the first letter of the signal name is missing in the titles.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
We have verified that there is a bug in xPC Target 2.7.2 (R14SP2) and earlier when using signal names with xPC Target Scope blocks.
To work around this issue, prepend an underscore ('_') to the input signal names for xPC Target Scope blocks in Simulink. For example, if your signal name is "mysignal", change it to "_mysignal" to correctly display the signal on your target PC.
