ideRoot = arduino.supportpkg.getIDERoot

Description

ideRoot = arduino.supportpkg.getIDERoot returns a character vector containing the absolute path to the root folder of the installed Arduino^® IDE files.

Get Arduino IDE File Path

Ensure that you have MATLAB^® R2020b or higher installed with Simulink^® Support Package for Arduino Hardware. Get the root path of the installed Arduino IDE files.

arduino.supportpkg.getIDERoot

ans =

    'C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2020b\3P.instrset\arduinoide.instrset'

Output Arguments

ideRoot — Root folder of installed Arduino IDE files

character vector

Root folder of the installed Arduino IDE files, returned as a character vector. By default the root folder is C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2020b\3P.instrset\arduinoide.instrset
