Syntax

activeTab = getActiveTab(tabGroup)

Description

activeTab = getActiveTab(tabGroup) gets the active, or visible, tab in the Simulation Data Inspector.

Examples

Get Active Tab

Suppose that you are viewing the visualizations on the third tab in the Simulation Data Inspector. To get the Simulink.sdi.Tab object corresponding to this tab, access the Simulink.sdi.TabGroup object and get the active tab.

tabGroup = Simulink.sdi.TabGroup;
myTab = getActiveTab(tabGroup)

myTab =

        Name: 'Tab3'
       Color: 'none'
       Index: 3
    IsActive: 1

tabGroup — Collection of tabs

Simulink.sdi.TabGroup object

Collection of tabs open in the Simulation Data Inspector, specified as a Simulink.sdi.TabGroup object.
