Manage Polyspace Access Results and Users at the Command Line

Use the polyspace-access command to manage Polyspace^® Access™ results and users at the command line. For information and examples of using polyspace-access, see these command reference pages.

Note

The polyspace-access command is available in polyspaceroot\polyspace\bin. Here, polyspaceroot is the Polyspace Server installation folder, for instance, C:\Program Files\Polyspace Server\R2026a (see also Installation Folder (Polyspace Bug Finder)). Polyspace Server and Polyspace Access are separate products. To avoid typing the full path to this command, add this location to the PATH environment variable in your operating system.

Manage and Review Projects

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -create-project`	Create a project folder in the Polyspace Access web interface
`polyspace-access -move-project`	Move or rename a project or folder
`polyspace-access -delete-project`	Delete specified project or folder
`polyspace-access -set-deletion-policy`	Set or edit the project run deletion policy for the specified project
`polyspace-access -unset-deletion-policy`	Unset the project run deletion policy for the specified project
`polyspace-access -get-deletion-policy`	Show the deletion policy for the specified project
`polyspace-access -list-project`	List the paths to all projects in the Polyspace Access database
`polyspace-access -list-runs`	Show all the runs uploaded for the specified project
`polyspace-access -set-project-information`	Display and edit project information such as banner text
`polyspace-access -unset-project-information`	Remove project specific information such as banner text

Upload, Download, or Export Results

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -upload`	Upload a Polyspace Bug Finder™, Polyspace Code Prover™, or Polyspace Test™ result to the Polyspace Access database.
`polyspace-access -export`	Export project results from the Polyspace Access database
`polyspace-access -download`	Download results from Polyspace Access

Manage Review Information for Findings

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -review`	Edit the information in the review fields of findings for a project
`polyspace-access -import-reviews`	Import review information from a source project to a target project in Polyspace Access

Manage Software Quality Objectives

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -set-sqo`	Assign an SQO level to the specified project
`polyspace-access -get-sqo`	Show the currently assigned SQO level and SQO definition for the specified project
`polyspace-access -list-sqo`	List the names of all available SQO

Manage Project Run Labels and Unassigned Findings

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -add-label`	Add a label to the project run
`polyspace-access -remove-label`	Remove a specified label from the project run
`polyspace-access -set-unassigned-findings`	Assign owners to unassigned results in a project in the Polyspace Access database

Manage User Permissions

Command	Description
`polyspace-access -set-role`	Assign a role to a user for a specified project or project folder
`polyspace-access -unset-role`	Remove any role previously assigned to a user for the specified project or folder
