Add Assessment Item to Sakai

If an LMS administrator has already performed MATLAB® Grader™ integration with Sakai®, you can add MATLAB Grader assessment items to your course.

Perform the following steps to add an assessment item:

  1. In Sakai, go to the site where you want to add a MATLAB Grader assessment item.

  2. Select Lessons from the Tool menu.

    If Lessons is not visible

    1. Select Site Info > Manage Tools.

    2. Select Lessons from the list of tools.

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue.

    4. Click Finish.

  3. Click Add Content +.

  4. Select Add External Tool, located at the bottom of the list.

  5. Click the tool name corresponding to MATLAB Grader.

    For Tool Title, enter the assessment item name.

  6. Click Save.

To launch the assessment item, click on the assessment item name. Sakai launches the MATLAB Grader interface for copying and creating content. You can create a new assessment item or select an existing item from your available collections or courses.
