Workshop 3: Building Scalable AI Workflows with MATLAB (Finland, Latvia, Norway and Iceland)

Start Time End Time
22 Sep 2025, 08:00 EDT 22 Sep 2025, 11:00 EDT

Overview

Do you want to see how AI can fit into your research workflow — without spending weeks stitching together tools?

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to build AI models in MATLAB using intuitive apps and scale them on your on-premises   HPC cluster.  Through real-world examples like industrial fault detection and aviation safety systems, you’ll move from signal and image data to fully trained and testable models – all in a single environment.

Whether you are just getting into AI or looking to operationalize models in simulation or deployment, you will leave with scalable and practical workflows ready to apply to your own research.

For the hands-on exercises in this workshop, you will need access to your institution's on-premises HPC cluster. Attendance at Workshop 2 is mandatory to participate.

Highlights

  • Build AI models using no-code and low-code workflows
  • Scale training using GPUs, and Parallel Computing Toolbox
  • Work with real-world examples in predictive maintenance and aviation AI
  • Learn how to integrate AI models into larger system simulations
  • Get hands-on with HPC-powered AI tools in MATLAB R2024b

Who Should Attend

  • Researchers and engineers using or exploring on-prem HPC resources in Finland, Latvia, Norway and Iceland.
  • Professionals in simulation, system modeling, or AI integration
  • Anyone interested in end-to-end AI workflows with high-performance training
