Physical System Modelling with Simscape

Start Time End Time
28 Oct 2026, 10:00 EDT 28 Oct 2026, 11:00 EDT

Overview

In collaboration with the UK Digital Twin Centre, discover how to model and simulate real-world physical systems using Simscape. In this webinar, you’ll learn how the physical network approach allows you to build system-level models by assembling intuitive schematics of interconnected components, without deriving complex equations manually.

See how you can adjust model fidelity to match your specific engineering goals, helping you move faster from concept to validation while maintaining the accuracy you need.

Highlights

What You'll Learn

  • How to develop physical system models using electrical, mechanical, and multibody components
  • Methods for estimating and incorporating motor parameters into your models
  • Typical engineering workflows and applications where Simscape provides the greatest value
  • Best practices for getting started quickly with modelling and simulation

Why Attend?

Whether you’re new to physical modelling or looking to streamline your development workflow, this session will give you the foundational knowledge and practical insights to start using Simscape effectively in your projects.
