Modelling Synthetic Biology Systems with SimBiology
Overview
Modelling is an integral part of synthetic biology and the iGEM competition. Mathematical modelling guides the rational design of genetic modifications and enables synthetic biologists to better analyze and predict system behavior prior to fabrication.
This webinar will provide iGEM teams with an introduction to modelling, simulation and analysis with MATLAB and SimBiology using an example from synthetic biology literature.
About the Presenter
Jérémy Huard is an Application Engineer for Computational Biology at MathWorks. He supports pharmaceutical companies in their modelling efforts by presenting workflows, delivering training, and performing proof-of-concepts. He also works with companies in the adoption of AI techniques to develop predictive models. Before joining MathWorks, Jérémy worked in the field of Systems Biology. He holds a M.Eng. (Dipl-Ing) with a major in Biomedical Engineering from Télécom Physique Strasbourg, France
