MATLAB and Simulink Seminars

Mondays with MATLAB – Nordic HPC Workshops

Overview

Does your project involve large computations or training Machine Learning and Deep Learning models? Are you interested in speeding up your code by harnessing a High-Performance Computing (HPC) resource near you?
MathWorks is partnering with NAISS Sweden, DTU Denmark, CSC Finland and Sigma2 Norway to bring you a three series workshop on parallel computing and AI using large compute resources –– including hands-on exercises where you will learn how to effectively use MATLAB and MATLAB Parallel Server to speed up your computations.

There will be three workshops in the series:

  1. Workshop 1 (11th September 2023) will introduce the basics of parallel computing with MATLAB
  2. Workshop 2 (18th September 2023) will include hands-on exercises on MATLAB for Machine Learning and Deep Learning workflows and demonstrate MATLAB-Python interoperability
  3. Workshop 3 (25th September and 26th September 2023) will be hands-on sessions where participants will get to submit jobs on an HPC cluster that is most relevant to them based on their country.

Important:

  • Please register with your academic or institutional email address.
  • Please register for the workshops separately by going to their individual registration pages.
  • Please choose the right session for Workshop 3 depending on the location of your university, to get access to the right HPC resources. Only users from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway will be able to follow hands-on exercises.
