Barron Associates can develop end-to-end real-time rapid prototyping solutions based on high-level system requirements, optimize existing algorithm implementations for real-time deployment, and develop custom applications that seamlessly integrate with MATLAB for data analysis and visualization. As one of the leading users of Simulink, Simulink Coder™, and Simulink Real-Time™, Barron Associates has established expertise developing and deploying Simulink Real-Time applications to include system development and integration with other real-time operating systems and computer architectures.

In addition to system integration using MathWorks tools, Barron Associates has developed a MATLAB interface in the Microsoft® .NET software environment. System integration services for increasingly-common .NET applications allow .NET developers access to the powerful MATLAB library. Moreover, developers of tools based on MATLAB and Simulink can interface to a .NET application to provide a full-featured user interface that is user friendly and portable across computing platforms.

Typical applications include high-speed data acquisition, real-time control, real-time signal processing, and non-real-time system modeling and data analysis. Sensor networks featuring thermocouples, pressure transducers, and accelerometers have been designed as part of the complete solution. Communication networks have included serial, Ethernet, and CAN.
