Hi!
I've constructed a non-linear model in Simulink for a vehicle powertrain. I have recorded some real vehicle powertrain input data and also some output data. I have some uncertain parameters in my Simulink model that I'd like to parametrize so that the model would be very near to my real vehicle powertrain. How do I perform Grey-box modelling with my Simulink model in Matlab? I've introduced myself to Identification Toolbox in Matlab, but how can I use my Simulink model with uncertain parameters there? I'd like that Matlab would calculate the parameter values for my model (uncertain values) so that the model would behave same as the real powertrain.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Thank you!

While you can use System Identification Toolbox for this, there is a product specifically for your problem. The product is called Simulink Design Optimization .
Take a look at this video to get an idea how the tool works.
More examples are available here, under "Parameter Estimation".
